Mahmoud Ahmed Hassan is an assistant professor of cell biology with a Ph.D. in biological sciences from the University of Reading, UK. He also holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in biological sciences from the College of Sciences, Salahaddin University. Dr. Mahmoud has extensive experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has taught courses in tumor biology, cell biology, histology, and molecular biology. His research primarily focuses on cancer biology, cell death mechanisms, cell signaling pathways, and the molecular basis of drug resistance. Additionally, he investigates the growing problem of antibiotic resistance in pathogenic microorganisms. Dr. Mahmoud is an active member of the European Association for Cancer Research and the Royal Microscopical Society.
