The International Foundation Programme (IFP), equivalent to a Level 3 UK award, leads to the awarding of the University of London International Foundation Certificate. The programme provides a pathway for students who want to pursue undergraduate studies. Further studies could take place at the University of London or at a wide range of other universities in the UK and around the world. The programme is designed to equip students with the necessary academic skills and knowledge to excel in higher education.
The IFP offers students the flexibility to choose between two streams: Humanities and STEM. Humanities students study modules such as International Relations, Business Administration, Academic Skills, Economics, and Mathematics and Statistics. STEM students focus on Chemistry, Business Administration, Pure Mathematics, Academic Skills, and Mathematics and Statistics. Additionally, the programme allows students to decide on their specialty after completing the IFP. Humanities students can choose to specialise in Business, International Law, while STEM students have the freedom to select their preferred type of engineering or Computer Science. This flexibility ensures that students have sufficient time to make informed decisions about their academic and career paths.
